Dr. Cheryl Fraser is one-of-a-kind. She is an award winning clinical psychologist, sex therapist, trained actor/improvisor, former comedy troupe member, Buddhist meditation teacher and media expert on many psychological topics. She hosted the full time Dr. Cheryl Fraser TALK RADIO show and appears on TELEVISION SHOWS ranging from CBC Marketplace to the Shopping Bags to the Vancouver Breakfast show. She can be seen on W network as the Personal Development Expert. She is most sought after for advice on love, sex & dating, as well as the psychological reasons why we humans do...well...anything! Marketplace asked her to explain the psychology under over-spending and getting into debt Boulevard magazine asked her about the real meaning of Passion the Shopping Bags sought her insights into the psychology of buying bathing suits, choosing a dating service, and the differences between men and woman, to name a few. She teaches WEEKEND INTENSIVES for couples and singles. TRAINING: Dr. Fraser has conducted research in sexual behaviour, AIDS Education and Premenstrual Syndrome. She received awards valued at over $100,000 during her graduate training, including the world-renowned Fulbright Fellowship for her studies of human sexuality in San Francisco, and awards from the Medical Research Council of Canada and the B.C. Medical Services Foundation.

I am a registered psychologist, and in adition to seminars and media work in this field I do private psychotherapy. I work with individuals, couples and teens in my Vancouver Island office (Maple Bay, Duncan)(see clinical specialties listed above). I am known for my straightforward, reassuring, and off-beat manner that puts patients at ease while working on difficult topics.
