I am a clinical psychologist, registered in British Columbia and Alberta. My primary office is in Victoria, where I provide treatment services to adult and adolescent clients. I conduct psychological and vocational assessments for members of the legal community, for third party organizations, and for private individuals. I am a senior associate at Mandel and Associates in Calgary (www.mandelassociates.com), a major provider of psychological and vocational assessment services in that province.
About Dr. Boissevain I completed my doctoral training at the University of Western Ontario and I have been in Victoria since 1993. Between 1993 and 2002 I was the clinical director of a multidisciplinary pain program. Since 1993 I have operated a private practice in Victoria, which became a full-time enterprise six years ago. I enjoy helping adults and adolescents with a range of psychological problems, and I have particular interests in chronic pain, psychological difficulties that arise from physical illness or injury, and anxiety problems that emerge after car accidents. It is my strong belief that whatever your age or whatever your problem, you have the personal resources to move your life in a healing direction with the appropriate support and strategies. Treatment
