Want to hear about leading edge initiatives and programs designed to promote wellness and mental health on college and university campuses? Want to learn more about strategies designed to reduce harmful substance use? What about opportunities to share your knowledge and expertise with participants from post-secondary institutions throughout the province? Then the Healthy Minds-Healthy Campuses Summer Conference 2009 is just for you!

The purpose of this conference is to showcase leading edge initiatives, programs, and practices designed to nurture the development of mentally healthy campus communities in BC. The conference organizers would like to offer a unique opportunity for campus community members to share and apply knowledge amongst themselves. While the focus of the conference is BC, we expect presenters and participants from Vancouver Island to Nova Scotia. The conference will provide a space for collaboration, a witnessing of the diversity of practice on campuses, and an opportunity to build upon strength in our ongoing conversations about campus mental health.


Students, counsellors, student affairs professionals, staff, teaching & research faculty, administrators, and community-based professionals are all invited to attend what promises to be an invigorating and energizing conference event.
