Submit a case vignette for our June ethics workshops!
Case vignettes submitted by BC psychologists will be used throughout the workshop to illustrate the application of ethical decision making in context. Submitting a case vignette is your chance to make our ethics workshops as relevant to you as possible.
Submitting a vignette does not guarantee its discussion in the workshop -- the vignettes will be evaluated and selected by the presenter, not by the BCPA staff. Please submit your case vignette as soon as possible.
The upcoming ethics workshop will take place on June 3rd in Vancouver, June 4th in Victoria, and will be presented by Stephen Behnke, JD PhD. This all-day ethics workshop will address ethical decision making, the relationship between ethical and clinical decision making, and ways to minimize exposure to ethical liability.Special focus will be given to specific ethical standards that are especially relevant to clinical practice, and the discussions will incorporate British Columbian law pertaining to the practice of psychology. The program will emphasize how psychologists can use ethics codes to facilitate ethical decision-making in their day-to-day work.
Registration will open on April 18th. We are not accepting phone registrations.
