Interior Health is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support mental health clients at the Hillside Psychiatric Centre and South Hills Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre in Kamloops, B.C.

This Clinical Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological services, including assessment, individual and group therapy, treatment planning and behaviour management interventions. The position will contribute to quality improvement, program development, evaluation and research and education. 

Hillside is a 44 bed tertiary facility providing specialized mental health services and programs within Neuropsychiatry, Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry with a focus on diagnosis and stabilization. 

South Hills consists of two 20 bed units designed for the treatment of adults with serious and persistent symptoms of mental illness with a program focus on psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery.

  • Ph.D. in Psychology or equivalent from a university or school recognized by the College of Psychologists’ of British Columbia, with an approved pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology.
  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists’ of British Columbia (or eligible for registration).
  • Five years recent related experience in clinical psychology in the assigned clinical practice area(s).
