Interior Health is urgently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) clients in Kelowna, B.C

The ACT teams utilize a team-based care treatment model for complex clients with severe and persistent psychiatric illness, and concurrent health and social challenges within outreach, community and home-based settings.

 We are seeking a motivated team player who brings strong psychological assessment skills including cognitive, intellectual, memory, DSM diagnosis, treatment planning. The successful candidate will demonstrate significant capability in the provision of individual and group evidence-based psychological therapies and behavioural consultation, with clients presenting complex psychiatric/substance misuse concerns.

  • Ph.D. in Psychology or equivalent from a university or school recognized by the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, with an approved pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology.
  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists’ of British Columbia (or eligible for registration).
  • Five years recent related experience in clinical psychology in the assigned clinical practice area(s).
