A vital, rewarding role helping children and youth in your community

Salary $77,507.14 - $96,936.36 annually

Child and Youth Mental Health Services provide a range of specialized mental health services for infants, children and youth with mental health problems, from birth to 18 years of age, and their families/caregivers. In the South Fraser Service Delivery Area we currently have three exciting opportunities for Psychologists: one position available in the culturally diverse area of Central Surrey, and another position available in the diverse and growing area of Cloverdale/Fleetwood, and an exciting half-time opportunity for specialization in the area of working with Indigenous clients, their families and their communities. For all the positions, candidates will find that the South Fraser Service Delivery Area supports and encourages Psychological practice and Psychologists’ career development. For example, we have a continuing education group that meets approximately 8 times per year, meeting continuing education requirements of the College of Psychologists of B.C. This group has been thriving for many years and offers our Psychologists opportunities for collegial peer support.

In these positions, you will provide a range of clinical psychological services to children and youth with serious emotional/behavioural and neurodevelopmental disorders by conducting psychological assessments, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention and consultation with community agencies, schools, and hospitals.
