I am a Registered Psychologist currently practicing in Kelowna, BC.

In regards to my education, I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at UBC - Okanagan Campus, a CPA-accredited program. I also completed an accredited residency at Ontario Shores for Centre of Mental Health Sciences.

My clinical experience has primarily been assessing and treating general mental health needs. However, I also have extensive training and experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, such as assessing risk for reoffending and offering treatment services with the goal of optimizing a person's reintegration/transition back into society.

For diagnostic psychological assessments, if you wish to gain some greater clarity around whether you have a diagnosable psychological condition, I can assist you with this.

For therapy, my sessions are completed virtually only. I use evidence-based treatment approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (for mood and anxiety-related symptoms, anger/stress management, problematic alcohol/substance use, binge-eating, body image issues), Cognitive Processing Therapy and Exposure Therapy (for trauma-related symptoms), and Motivational Interviewing strategies (for those with behavioural change goals, such as reducing binge-eating, substance/alcohol use) as needed.
