CALL FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOMINATIONS

INTERESTED IN JOINING THE BOARD? NOMINATIONS OPEN SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2023.

If you’re passionate about advancing the science and the profession of psychology in B.C., a position on the BCPA Board of Directors is for you! 

The Board of Directors is primarily responsible for the strategic direction of the association. Training is offered so we encourage you to nominate yourself even if you have never been on a professional Board. We encourage nominations from psychologists with diverse backgrounds (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Interior or Northern BC, area of practice, early career psychologists, etc.).

You can nominate yourself or another psychologist who has explicitly agreed to be nominated for this position. All nominees must be current BCPA members at the time of nomination. 

STUDENTS, the BCPA Board Student seat is open! This is a great opportunity to network with your soon-to-be colleagues while shaping the future of psychology in B.C. You must be a student for the full 2-year term to be eligible for the seat (November 2023 to November 2025).
